What are some good teen dating sites?

I honestly don’t know any for teens. All of the sites I’m aware of are 18+ and I’ve really only found OkCupid to be a good one for the LGBTQ population.

I was wondering if you could elaborate on the differences between butch and andro that you referenced in a previous post. I do agree that there is too much emphasis on labeling in accordance to stereotypes, and I myself am not a huge fan of labels, but they are helpful to identity formation. But what would make a person butch versus andro? As I'm sure that answer varies from person to person, perhaps other followers could answer as well?

At least from what I think, butch is a more masculine look, while androgynous either a lack of gender definition or an even mix of both genders. For example, when you look at my girlfriend, she is essentially the poster child for being androgynous. Her face is both masculine and feminine, and neither masculine nor feminine, all at the same time. People often start at her, very obviously trying to determine which gender she is. Her clothes are also typically very gender neutral (t-shirts that either gender can wear, skinny jeans, sneakers). If she were more masculine, her visual appearance would lean towards masculine and when people looked at her they would more clearly define her as being masculine, as opposed to being confused about her gender definition. I hope that makes sense and is actually accurate.

i just got done talking to my mom about me being gay. she's understands what it means to be gay and has no problem with those that are, but she doesn't believe me when i tell her that i myself am gay. she basically says i'm too pretty, i haven't had enough experience with guys, and i don't dress myself up so that i can attract a man. i know i have no attraction to men, but a part of me feels guilty if i don't try what shes asking me to do. any advice for me?

My mother was the same way. She said all of those exact things to me. But you know yourself better than anyone. If you know you’re gay, you just know. Did your mom have to experiment with a lot of girls before she knew she was straight? Probably not. So why would you have to experiment with a lot of guys before knowing you’re gay? Does that make sense? Just let your mom know that this is who you are. Don’t feel guilty for being yourself. It sounds like she’s pretty supportive overall, so you’re lucky there! Good luck! <3

Hey! It seems like you give good advice, and I have an issue. I'm in love with my best friend. She's always been straight, and recently broke up with a serious boyfriend this past summer, but also this past summer, she admitted to me that she had been in love with me all winter and spring, which was while she was dating him. I've always been in love with her, so I guess I need some advice on if you think I have a chance, and if so, what can I do to maybe make her feel the same way again. Thanks!

To me, this seems like a really straight-forward situation! You are in love with her, she was in love with you… I say tell her how you feel! Love doesn’t just disappear, so chances are she still feels that way. If she was brave enough to admit she was in love with you, then you should be brave enough to admit it back! It seems like the two of you are really lucky to have sound one another! As long as you’re both single now, I think things could really work out! Good luck! :)

Not a traditional submission, but this is my future wife! She JUST passed the written portion of her paramedic exam, and she has to take her skills portion and get her firefighting certification renewed and she’s super nervous! I don’t think my girlfriend understands that when I’m going through my “OH MY GOD I WANT A BABY ASAP” crisis, she can’t come up to me and say “I really want kids” because we both know the only reason we’re not getting engaged and married now so we can have kids in the next 2-4 years is because of her ongoing fear of growing up. AH!
P.S. Our kids are going to be half-Asian. Not look like this baby. :P

For my girlfriend’s birthday last year, I drew her this photo of lesbian sex between Iron Man (her) and Pepper Potts (me). I prefer the sketch, although I did end up coloring it before I gave it to her. She’s always been in love with Iron Man (she collects anything related to him and is completely obsessed), so I wanted to give her a naughty sketch of this interaction. It’s based off a photo I saw online, where they are having straight sex, so I adjusted the image to fit our lesbian tastes. What do you think? ;)
